Blending and Beyond, Week 2

Here is the Layout that I did for week two of the class Blending and Beyond by Jana Morgan. This class has been so much fun and very informative.

Affair Of The Heart

These photos were taken a few years ago, but I thought they would be perfect to show off the scrapbook kit "Affair Of The Heart" by ScrapN2Nspire available at DigiSisters. A lot has happened since then with the loss of a son-in-law to liver failure, the addition of another son-in-law with a darling daughter and the joy of three more grandchildren.

Blending and Beyond

I've been taking a class at Get It Scrapped called Blending and Beyond. Today I'm going to share my first attempt at blending. I used the kit From This Moment by Farmer Lisa's Wild Daisies which is available at Digisisters.

Peek, Seek & Design Challenge at DigiSisters

I took part in the Peek, Seek & Design Challenge at DigiSisters Forum this month. This is such a cute Fall kit and I had so much fun with it. Check it our for yourself by clicking on the DigiSisters Forum link. I also made a Free Quick Page that you can use by right clicking on it and downloading to your computer. Then all you need to do is put a photo in the empty frame and print it out. It is a 12 x 12, but you can reduce it to 8 x8 and print it on 8 1/2 x 10 photo paper. Enjoy.

Purple Passion by Edina Designs Digitally

Sorry I've been MIA but I've been having problem with Blogger not allowing me to post. Finally, I think I got it straightened out. I have been busy however and will try to catch up on what I've been doing. For today, I have 2 Layouts that I made as a CT for DigiSisters. They are both made using the kit Purple Passion by Edina Designs Digitally. The first I call Good Friends and the second is Authors. The photos are of friends and fellow authors that recently got together for lunch and a lot of conversation.

Bedtime Story by Edina Designs

I remember the many nights I read a story to my children, and they tell me now they remember them too. Some of those books are still around and they are now being read to my grandchildren. It's nice to have a tradition that continues on through the generations. With the scrap kit Bedtime Story by Edina Designs at DigiSisters you will be able to make many pages of those times together. Here is a layout I call "Sleepy Time" that I made and I hope you will enjoy it also.

Little Fairy by Best Kept Memories

The kit Little Fairy by Best Kept Memories is so cute. The title made me think of the commercial of the Elves making Cookies in a tree. I had the perfect pictures for that. It didn't take me long to make a LO and since I have some more  pictures of my grandchildren playing together that same day, I know I'll be making some more to go with this one. I call this "No Cookies."

Shabby Summer by Farmer Lisa's Wild Daisies

Shabby Summer by Farmer Lisa's Wild Daisies at DigiSisters is an adorable kit that would be suitable for many types of layouts. Today I have one of my grand-daughter when she won a Pink ticket at Chucky Cheese for her 5th birthday.

Go Fish

Do you have photos of family and friends fishing and camping? If so, Best Kept Memories has the perfect kit at DigiSisters called Go Fish. I've made a LO of the kit that I call Loving Every Minute. The photo is of my son and his friends fishing while camping.

School Is Cool

Unfortunately we all know of someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Many time it has been a close relative and too many people have died too young from this disease. A New scrapbook page and a Freebie

I am finally starting to understand what I'm doing in Photoshop Elements. There are so many great tutorials and videos that people have made and they have really helped me learn. Lawn Flair Scrapbook Page

I have another page for you today. This one is from the kit Lawn Flair 2 by Farmer Lisa. She also has a Lawn Flair 3 and a separate paper pack you can check out.

My husband has been feeding the birds, squirrels and rabbits around our home for several years. Now our grandson likes to help put out food when he is here. This squirrel will chatter and make a terrible racket until he gets fresh food every day. We think he's a son or grandson of another squirrel we fed for 3 years that my husband named Stubby. He got that name because he lost his tail, probably getting run over by a car. Stubby became so tame that he would come up on our front porch and scratch on the door, demanding to be fed.

Accepted as a CT at DigiSisters

I'm happy to announce that I've been accepted as a CT at DigiSisters. Here is my first attempt at a Layout. I hope you like it as much as I do.

This is my grand-daughter, and as you can see, she loves to sing. I used the kit "Naturally Spring" by Farmer Lisa. You should be able to find the kit by clicking on its name and Lisa's blog by clicking on her name.

I did it!

Yes, I finally did it. I set up a blog and I designed the basics myself. I can see there is a lot more for me to do, but I still feel a sense of accomplishment for what I've done so far. Within the next few days I hope to do a lot of fine tuning to my blog as well as post some of the scrapbook pages I've finished
